لم تحظ بعض قضايا الفلسفة الإسلامية في المغرب والأندلس بالعناية الكافية من جهود الباحثين في وقتنا الحاضر.. ولذلك فقد وجهت عنايتي منذ فترة ليست بالبعيدة للبحث في هذا التراث الزاخر، وقمت بإعداد مجموعة من البحوث والدراسات المنتقاة تناولت منها موضوعات غير مطروحة لإعلام لم يدرسوا الدراسة الكافية. وقد جاءت هذه الدراسات على النحو التالي: أولا: دراسة النزعة العقلية في فكر ابن تومرت مهدي المغرب (ت: 524) وبيان أثرها في الفلسفة المغربية. ثانيا: إبراز جهود ابن السيد البطليوسي (ت:521) في قضية التوفيق بين الدين والفلسفة. ثالثا: بيان الجوانب الأخلاقية في كتابات مفكري المغرب من أمثال: ابن حزم- ابن باجة- ابن طفيل- ابن رشد. ولما كانت القضايا السابقة تجمع بينها وحدة الموضوع، فقد رأينا نشرها في كتاب واحد، وقد تجشمنا عناء تبسيط المادة المعروضة على كثرة ما يكتنفها من غموض وصعوبة، حتى تكون كتابا جديدا سهلا في مادته، يسد فراغا في المكتبة الفلسفية.
