تتوالى تراجم الكتاب المقدس إلى مختلف اللغات، وتتابع في اللغة الواحدة.. للوصول إلى أقرب المعاني ((للنص الأصلي المفقود)) وكل ترجمة حديثة تلقى اللوم على الترجمات السابقة وتتهمها بالخطأ والقصور.. وهذا الكتاب يعالج موضوع ((اختلاف تراجم الكتاب المقدس)) في مختلف اللغات فيعرض لما يقال عن موسى وغيره من الأنبياء باعتبارهم آلهة ! .. ثم حذف صيغة التثليث من العهد الجديد – باعتبارها نصا دخيلا- وأن كل الناس بما فيهم الأبرار من المسيحيين، سوف يعذبون في النار .. أن مشكلة المشاكل في الكتاب المقدس هي الوصول إلى النص الأصلي.. ولذلك يقول –آباء الكنيسة- ((ان الحل العلمي الحقيقي يفرض علينا أن نعامل الكتاب المقدس كما نعامل جميع مؤلفات الحضارة القديمة)).. وبالنسبة لأسفار العهد الجديد فإنهم يقولون: ((أن نص العهد الجديد قد نسخ ثم نسخ طوال قرون كثيرة، بيد نساخ كان صلاحهم للعمل متفاوتا، ومت من واحد منهم معصوم من مختلف الأخطاء.. فلا يمكننا والحال هذه الوثوق التام في ما ينقلون إلينا))...
أما التطورات داخل المسيحية، فهي كثيرة.. ويكفي أن أكثر من نصف أساقفة إنجلترا يقولون : (( انه لم يعد لزاما على المسيحيين أن يؤمنوا بأن المسيح ابن الله.. ويكفي فقط اعتباره: الوكيل الأعلى لله، أي المتحدث باسمه)).
