هذا كتاب ((البيان المغرب في اختصار أخبار ملوك الأندلس والمغرب)) للمؤرخ المغربي المراكشي أبي العباس أحمد بن محمد بن عذاري المتوفي بعد سنة 712 هـ، وهو التاريخ الذي ألف فيه هذا الكتاب، والذي لم نقف على ترجمة له سوى ما ورد من معلومات نزرة عنه في هذا الكتاب. وقد جعل ابن عذارى كتابه هذا في ثلاثة أجزاء، تناول في الجزء الأول تاريخ شمال إفريقية منذ الفتح الإسلامي وحتى ظهور المرابطين والموحدين. وخصص الجزء الثاني لأخبار الأندلس منذ فتحها، وعصر الولاة، ثم العهد الأموي، وقيام الدولة العامرية، فظهور ملوك الطوائف وحتى دخول المرابطين إلى الأندلس سنة 478 هـ. أما الجزء الثالث فهو عودة إلى تاريخ المغرب إذ أتى فيه على أخبار الدولة المرابطية اللمتونية وما كان من شأنها في المغرب والأندلس، ثم أخبار الدولة الموحدية وما عاصرها من أخبار الهوديين والحفصيين والنصريين، ثم الدولة المرينية وانتصارها واستيلائها على مراكش في أواخر سنة 776 هـ.
