اسمي عدنان باكسوي Adnan PAKSOY، أنا تركي الأصل، وُلدتُ عام 1962م. في ضاحية أكسكي التابعة لمدينة أنطاليا التركية. 1984 تخرجت في كلية الاقتصاد بجامعة سلجوق مدينة قونيا. أتقن اللغة الإنجليزية والعربية. عملت بمنصب مدير لأعمال المحاسبة في عدة شركات تركية للمقاولات في مجال الإنشاءات بالخارج لفترة طويلة. وفي أثناءِ ذلك أتيحت لي الفرصة للتعرف على العلامة الجليل الشيخ فريد صلاح الهاشمي المعروف في تركيا باسمه المحلي فريد الدين أيدين Feriduddin AYDIN. تمكنتُ بفضله من تطوير معرفتي باللغة العربية واكتسبت ثقافة عالمية واسعة. وقد نذرتُ حياتي لخدمة أستاذي الشيخ فريد صلاح الهاشمي في الآونة الأخيرة، أعمل كمسؤول اتصالات لبريده ونشر أعماله.

أطلعني أحد أصدقائي، الملا من أصل كردي، على كتاب ألفه (باللغة التركية). وذكر أنه كتب هذا الكتاب لتحذير الناس من الخرافات. طلب مني كتابة نص للإشادة بكتابه حتى يلتقي الكتاب بعدد كبير من القراء ويحظى بتقدير جمهور عريض. وأضاف أنه سيضع هذا المنشور على إحدى الصفحات الأولى من الكتاب. قلت أنه يجب عليّ أولاً فحص الكتاب.
بعد مغادرة صديقي بدأتُ أتصفَّحُ الكتابَ، لكنني شعرت بدهشة بالغة. كانت هناك أخطاء جسيمة ومتنوعة في النص، وكانت هذه الأخطاء شائعة؛ بحيث لم تكن قابلة للتصحيح بسهولة. كانت مكتوبة بلغة خالية من الذوق الأدبي. علاوة على ذلك ، تم استخدام أسلوب قاسي بشكل لا يصدَّق. كان نص الكتاب مليئًا بالاتهامات والتناقضات الشديدة. بالطبع، لم يمكنني أن أوصي بهذا الكتاب لأي شخص. لكنني لم أرغب أن أرفض طلبه فحسب، بل وجدت أنه من المناسب أن أقدم له بعض النصائح.
لذلك، لا بد لي من توضيح حقيقة هنا؛ لقد تلقى صديقي تعليمه في مدارس متهالكة من العصر السلجوقي واتبع نظامًا تعليميًا كلاسيكيًا للغاية وغير فعال ومتخلف. على الرغم من ذلك، حاول الرجلُ تأليف كتاب دون مراعاة هذه الحقيقة. وجملة القول أن هذه الإجابة المتواضعة التي كتبتها له، ستمنحك نبذة مختصرة عن الحياة الاجتماعية في تركيا. أعتقد أنه عند الانتهاء من هذا الكتيب سوف تتعلم أشياء كثيرة مثيرة للاهتمام لتعرفها عن تركيا.
