يقدم ديوان «من حسن ملهمتي» تجربة شعرية متعددة الأغراض، تتداخل فيها المناجاة الروحية والتأملات الوجدانية مع قضايا الوطن والهوية والانتماء والحب والفقد، في إطار يجمع بين تقاليد الشعر العربي الموزون ومحاولات التجديد في التعبير والصورة والإيقاع.
يحتل الشعر الديني والروحي مساحة بارزة من الديوان؛ إذ تتناول قصائد عديدة مناجاة الله تعالى، والتضرع والدعاء، والتوبة والرجاء، ومدح النبي محمد ﷺ والصلاة عليه. وتعكس هذه النصوص توجهًا إيمانيًا يستند إلى مفردات التراث الإسلامي والصور البلاغية المستوحاة من الطبيعة والنور والرحمة.
ويبرز الشعر الوطني والقومي بوصفه أحد المحاور الرئيسة، من خلال قصائد تستحضر اليمن ومدنه وتاريخه وهويته الحضارية، وتتناول قضايا الوحدة العربية والكرامة الإنسانية وفلسطين والقدس وغزة، مع التعبير عن الألم تجاه الحروب والانقسامات وما تتركه من آثار على الإنسان والمجتمع.
أما الجانب الوجداني، فيتجلى في قصائد الحب والحنين والاشتياق والفراق والوفاء والاغتراب النفسي، حيث يستثمر الشاعر صور الليل والبحر والمطر والنخيل والطيور والزهور للتعبير عن تحولات المشاعر الإنسانية بين الأمل والانكسار.
ويتضمن الديوان كذلك قصائد تأملية تتناول الزمن والموت والذكريات وتقلبات الحياة، فضلًا عن نصوص تتصل بالأمومة والصداقة والعلاقات الإنسانية والقيم الأخلاقية.
