"قد نعتقد أن الحبو والخطو هما مرحلتان للأطفال فحسب، ولكن ما لا يُعرف أن للكبار شِرعتهم ومنهاجهم في الحبو والخطو بين (النجـدين).
فمنهم من يتعثر في جلّ خطواته بلا هُدى، ومنهم من ينطلق بلا توقف، لا يدري أين تطمئن قدماه فتتوقفان، لكنه يمضي فحسب.. وبين هذا وذاك يولد الصراع الإنساني.
كان فُرسان الغسق أسياد الأضداد، ومن هنا كانت بداية مسارات مختلفة في مصائرهم، لتطرح الأسئلة نفسها: مَن سيبقى فارساً على صهوة خيله في طريقه، ومَن سيكون طفلاً في سريره لا يهتدي لنفسه!"
