فكرتُّ أنْ أكتبُ وصيَّتِي، لكن تذكَّرت؛ أنَا لا أملِكُ شيْئًا، غيرَ دفترٍ دموِيٍّ تتَخاصَمُ داخِلهُ رَغبَةُ الموتِ برغبةِ الحياةِ، وعلبةُ منادِيلٍ فارغَةٍ أهرَعُ إلَيْها كلَّ حينٍ تجتَاحُنِي نوبَةٌ من بُكاءٍ... أحاوِلُ التظاهُرَ بأنَّنِي عَمِيقَةٌ، أوْ بِأنَّنِي نوعٌ منَ الشَّخْصِيَّاتِ الغامِضَةِ التِّي تبْكِي البحْرَ وتُغَازِلِ الموتَ، لكنَّنِي في الحقيقَةِ نسيتُ فقطْ أنْ أذيبَ السكَّرَ في القهوةِ لمدَّةِ دقيقَةٍ وخمسِ ثوَانٍ هذَا الصَّبَاحِ، ومُنْذُ ذِلكَ الحينِ وكلُّ شيْءٍ يَنهَارُ تِباعًا..
