Joseph Sultan is a widely read writer, journalist, translator, and cultural researcher whose books and cultural projects have reached readers across the Middle East and Europe. With أساطير الأرض السمراء: خمسون حكاية من الفلكلور الصربي, Sultan now turns his cultural mission toward Serbia. Through his Arabic translation of selected Serbian folk tales from Srpske narodne pripovijetke, the classic collection associated with Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, he introduces Serbian folklore, oral literature, and national heritage to a new international readership.
