يبحثُ الكتاب مسألة فقهيّة تتعلّق بحكم الإقدام على الدّعاء بالألفاظ الموهِمة للتّشبيه في حقّ الله تعالى، وما يتّصل بها من أحكام، كمدى مشروعيّة الأوراد والأحزاب التي وضعها العلماء، أو الأذكار والأدعية التي نُقلت عنهم وفيها ما يُوهِم الحلول والاتّحاد. وهو من تأليف أحد أعلام المالكيّة، الذين ذاع صيتهم في الآفاق، وعُرفوا بكثرة التّصنيف وحسن التّأليف، وهو العلّامة الفقيه الشَّيخ أحمد بابا التُّنبكتيّ، المتوفّى سنة 1036هـ/1627م.
