كلٌّ في يدهِ فسيلة.
فسيلةُ خيرٍ صغيرة، قد لا يلتفت إليها كثيرون، لكن صاحبها يعلم أنّها بذرةُ أثرٍ في هذه الحياة. يمضي بها بين الناس، يبحث لها عن أرضٍ طيبة، وعن تربةٍ تحتمل الرجاء. قد تعصف بها الرياح، وقد يبطئ المطر، وقد يثقل الطريق بالتعب، ومع ذلك لا يتركها تسقط من يده.
ليس كلُّ من غرسَ شجرةً أدرك ظلَّها، ولا كلُّ من بذرَ خيرًا رأى ثمره بعينيه؛ غير أنّ قيمة الإنسان ليست في ما يحصده فقط، بل في صدقِ ما يغرسه.
فالحياة ليست ميدانَ كمالٍ مطلق، بل ساحةُ سعيٍ ومحاولة.
نغرس ما استطعنا من خير، ونمضي.
نزرع كلمةً طيبة، أو عملًا صالحًا، أو أثرًا خفيفًا يمرّ في حياة الآخرين فيترك فيها حياة.
وإذا انقضى العمر قبل أن نرى الثمار، فحسبُنا أنّنا حملنا الفسيلة يوم حملها غيرنا، وحاولنا أن نغرسها كما ينبغي.
فليس المطلوب أن نغيّر العالم دفعةً واحدة،
بل أن نُبقي الفسيلة حيّةً في أيدينا،
وأن نصدق في غرسها ما استطعنا.
