قصة قصيرة بأحداث مفهومة وغير مفهومة تروي قصة طبيب ريفي في طقس شتوي تستنجد به احدى العائلات لعلاج ابنها ، يضطر الطبيب والذي لا نعرف اسمه على الخروج وسط العاصفة الثلجية لكنه يواجه عقبة حصانه قد نفق فيبعث بخادمته هنا وهناك في ارجاء القرية بحثاً عن احد يعيرها حصان وتبتدء الأحداث الغريبة . الرواية أو القصة ان جاز القول تقع في 9 صفحات حسب الترجمة العربية . القصة من تأليف الروائي فرانز كافكا . تفسّر القصة بمعاني عديدة حسب وجهة نظر كل قارئ . وددت التنويه على ان الرواية قد أقتبسَ منها انميشن ياباني (فيلم) انتج في 2007 وقد نقل التجربة بشكل جيد أنصحكم لو احببتم مشاهدة العمل مرئي بالفيلم اسمه
