تدور أحداث الرواية حول فتاةٍ تعيش حياة هادئة، حتى يتغير كل شيء حين تتعرّف على شاب من دولةٍ أخرى عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
تبدأ العلاقة بخجلٍ وفضول، ثم تنمو بخيوط من الكلمات والمشاعر الصادقة. ومع مرور الوقت، يتحول الغياب بينهما إلى ألمٍ، والحديث اليومي إلى حاجةٍ تشبه التنفس.
لكن القدر، الذي جمع بين روحين في فضاءٍ افتراضي، يقرر أن يفرّقهما بطريقةٍ مأساوية.
موته لا يكون نهاية القصة، بل بداية رحلة الفتاة مع الفقد، ومع اكتشافها أن الحب الحقيقي لا يموت، بل يظلّ يسكننا حتى بعد الرحيل.
