لم يكن ما مر به مجرد حزن عابر، بل عاصفة حاولت أن تقتلع جذوره، لكنه أدرك في النهاية أن جذوره أعمق مما ظن، وأنه حتى حين انحنى ظله تحت ثقل ا الليل. لم ينكسر.
الكتابة كانت صوته حين فقد الكلام، والرسم كان أنفاسه حين اختنق. ومع كل كلمة، مع كل لون، عاد يقترب من ذاته الحقيقية، تلك التي اختبأت طويلد خلف الألم.
لم ينتصر على الحياة بشكل كامل، ولم تتحول أيامه إلى مثالية فجأة. لكنه انتصر على أخطر عدو: فكرة أنه انتهى. وعندما واجه ظله، لم يعد يخشاه، بل صار يعرف أنه جزء منه، يذگره بما اجتازه، لا بما كسره.
الان، وهو يمشي في الطريق ذانه الذي كان يوا عبا يشعر أن خطواته أخف لا لأنه تخلص من كل شيء، بل لأنه تصالح مع داخله، وعاد يحتضن نفسه التي ظنها ضائعة.
وهكذا.، في قلب كل ظلام، ظل لم ينكسر،
