ان الحديث عن الابداع والشخصية الانسانية ينقلنا الى العديد من الاراء المتناقضة والمتباينة بين الجوانب النظرية والتطبيقية في العملية الابداعية، وفي هذا الصدد لابد من اثارة العديد من الاسئلة التي تغدو حاضرة في ذهن القارئ بمجرد الحديث عن الابداع او العبقرية مثلا: هل الابداع يرتبط باضطرابات نفسية معينة، ضمن الاطار السايكولوجي العام لتفسير الابداع؟
ثم نتساءل هنا: هل كان الجنون او وهن الجسم لدى فنسنت فان جوخ هو سبب الابداع ام نتيجة، كذلك هل الابداع هو نتيجة الشخصية المتكاملة ام الشخصية التي تعاني من نقص عضوي او معنوي؟؟ ام هو نتاج شخصية مترفة؟ او هو نتاج شخصية تعيش حالة صراع حاد بينها وبين مجتمعها وبيئتها بكل ما تتضمنه من مشاكل ومعاناة وظروف صعبة؟؟
