هذه الكتاب عبارة عن جمع لأربعين حديثًا من الأحاديث الشريفة والآثار المُنيفةِ التي وردت في فضل مِصْرَ ومكانتها بين الأُمَمِ؛ حيث كان لمصْرَ النصيبُ الأكبر من وصايا النبي ص بالبلدان وبيان فضلها؛ تبشيرًا بفتحها، ومدحًا لِقِبْطِها، وحثًّا على الإحسان إلى أهلِهَا، وبيانًا لخيريةِ جُندِهَا، وتوضيحًا لقوة عُدَّتها وعَتَادِهَا، وتصريحًا بِنَجْدَتِها للمُسلمِين وعونِها، وإرشادًا لاتِّخاذ الجُندِ الكثيفِ مِنها، وإظهارًا لسلامتها من الفتن وأمنِهَا، ودعاءً بالبركة في نِيلِهَا وَعَسَلِهَا، وتوجيهًا بالتجارة والاستثمار في أرضِهَا، وتحذيرًا من إلحاق الضرر بها، أو الدعاء على أهلِهَا، وتأكيدًا على أنَّها في ضمان ربِّها عند الكيدِ بِهَا.
