إخواني النَّاشِئِينَ:
هذه عِظاتٌ نافعةٌ ولآلئُ لامعةٌ، سترونَها منظومةَ العِقدِ في سِلْكِ العِبْرةِ، منثورةَ الفائدةِ بقلمِ الحكمَةِ، ترشِدُ إلى المنهجِ القَويمِ بالأسلوبِ الحكيمِ ، وتهدي مَن عمِلَ بها إلى صراطٍ مستقيمٍ.
أنشأتُها ورائدي فيها الإخلاصُ ، وصُوايَ صِدقُ النِّيَّةِ , وهي تحملُ بينَ جوانِحِها موضوعاتٍ شتَّى، مِن الاجتماعِ والأخلاقِ، وتنطوي أضالِعُها على مَضامينَ متنوِّعةٍ مِنَ الآدابِ والحِكَمِ.
فهي جَعْبَةُ عِبَرٍ، وكِنانَةُ عِظاتٍ يدرَأُ بها النَّاشِئُ عن نفسِهِ جُيُوشَ الخُمُولِ وكتائِبَ الضَّعَةِ ويدفَعُ ما ينتابُها مِن عوادِي الأمراضِ الاجتماعيَّةِ ، وطوارئِ الأسقامِ الزَّمنيَّةِ .
فعضُّوا عليها -أيُّها النَّاشئونَ- بالنَّواجِذِ تكُن لكم دريئَةً يومَ تكونونَ شُبَّانًا، وذُخرًا حينَ تصيرونَ شِيبًا ، وسلامٌ على مَن سمِعَ عِظَتي فوَعاها ، وعَمِلَ بمقتضاها.
