كتاب (خلاصة الذهب المسبوك المختصر من سير الملوك) لبدر الدين أبي محمد عبد الرحمن بن قنينو الأربلي (ت 717هـ)، بتحقيق الأستاذ الدكتور غازي حميد موسى الدوري، في حلة قشيبة، محققًا لأول مرة على نسختين إحداهما كتبت في حياة المصنف رحمه الله.
ويعد الكتاب من نفائس كتب التاريخ لما تضمنه من معلومات فريدة رتبها المؤلف على حسب توالي الخلفاء، فتناول كل خليفة على حدة، بدءًا من الوليد بن عبد الملك وانتهاءً بالمستعصم بالله العباسي، حيث أتى بأدق التفاصيل المتعلقة بالخلفاء وحياتهم ومايدور في بيوتهم من حوادث ومواقف، ودوَّن في الكتاب النوازل والدسائس التي مرت على الدولة الإسلامية في تلك الحقبة.
وكما إن هذا الكتاب اشتمل على معلومات تاريخية انفرد المؤلف بذكرها وغفل عن ذكرها غيره من المؤرخين، وكان من أهم مصادره فيه تاريخ ابن الساعي ( ت674هـ)، المسمى (التاريخ الجامع المختصر في عنوان التواريخ وعيون السير).
