دور القصة حول فتاة فقدت الشخص الذي أحبّته بعمق، ذلك الشخص لم يكن فقط حبيبًا، بل كان عالمها بأكمله: صديقها، أخاها، أملها، وكل شيء جميل في حياتها. وبعد الفراق، لم تستطع نسيانه، فكل شيء يذكّرها به: الأماكن، الأصوات، الكلمات، وحتى الهواء.
رغم محاولاتها المستمرة لتناسيه والعودة لحياتها الطبيعية، إلا أن الذكريات كانت تطاردها بلا رحمة، فتحوّلت من شخص ينبض بالحياة إلى شخص يبتسم من الخارج بينما ينزف من الداخل. شعورها الدائم بالحنين، وشوقها لصوته، وضحكته، ونظرته، جعل نسيانه أشبه بالمستحيل.
تتذكر تفاصيل لقائهما الأول الذي بدأ صدفة، لكنه غيّر حياتها للأبد. كانت نظراته ساحرة، وكلماته صادقة، وشخصيته آسرة. ورغم بدايتهما المتعثرة، إلا أنه أصر على البقاء في حياتها، وكان واضحًا في مشاعره منذ البداية.
لكن مع مرور الوقت، تغيّر كل شيء. لم تعد تعرف لماذا انتهت القصة، ولا متى بدأ البُعد. كل ما تعرفه هو أنها لا تزال تتذكّره، تتألّم لذكراه، وتحاول أن تعيش كما لو أنه لم يكن، لكنها تفشل كل مرة، لأن قلبها ما زال متعلقًا به.
