هذا الكتاب هو في الفقه الإسلامي على مذهب الإمام الشافعي رضي الله عنه، أصل الكتاب هو الحاوي للإمام القزويني، ثم جاء الإمام ابن الوردي ونظم في أكثر من خمسة آلاف بيت، ثم جاء ابن العراقي رحمه الله تعالى وشرح هذا النظم المسمى ب (بهجة الحاوي) أو ( البهجة الوردية).
فهو كتاب عظيم النفع للإمام الجليل أبي زرعة ولي الدين أحمد بن عبد الرحيم العراقي المعروف بابن العراقي (ت ٨٢٦هـ)
