Book Description
Artaud, surnommé "le Mômo", prend acte d'un fait qui arraisonne la psychiatrie – proposant d'envisager l'électrochoc comme le nom psychiatrique pour la mort, cet "état de magie noire qui n'existait pas depuis longtemps". Mais on sait que lui-même pratiqua une magie dont il suggère ici que c'est une riposte à l'autre, l'assaut du corps psychotique et de son intégrité. Ainsi le psychotique de génie a-t-il autorité et vocation à poser la question de la magie et on sait, à la lecture des Carnets de Rodez, qu'Artaud exerça son art graphique et pictographique destiné à "assassiner" la magie, ce qui était sa manière de pratiquer sa magie, unique en son genre, et de la porter à son accomplissement. C'est dans la puissance de son effondrement que le mage psychotique puise les ressources de ce dépassement (Aufhebung) de la magie courante et l'invention d'une magie sui generis qui en révèle la structure.
