أَحْمَدُ اللهَ رَبِّي حَمْدًا. لَا تُحْصَى لَهُ عَدَدًا. وَلَا عَيْنَ النَّاظِرِ تُغْنِيْهِ عَنْهُ أَبَدًا. اَلَّذِي لَا يَنْبَغِيْهِ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا. سَبَبُ الَّذِي كَادَتِ الْجِبَالُ أَنْ تَخِرَّ هَدُّا. ثُمَّ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ وَالسَّلَامُ سَرْمَدًا. وَآلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ وَمَنِ اقْتَدَى .اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى مَنِ اتَبَعَ الْهُدَى. أَمَا بَعْدُ :
هَذَا الْكِتَابُ نَظَمْتُهُ لِلْغِلْمَانِ. وَكُلِّ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَكُونَ فِي مَيْدَانِهِ. سَمَّيْتُهُ بِحَلْوَى الصِّبْيَانِ. وَقَدْ جَعَلْتُهُ وَقْفًا للهِ وَالرَّحْمَانِ. اَلَّذِي خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ وَعَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ.
