Ibraheem (Ladi) Abubakr Amosa is a Finance Expert with over ten years’ experience managing projects supported by National and International Donor Agencies. His background in legal, banking, finance and accounting inform his mindful but competitive approach. His hunger for knowledge and self-drive to turn information into action has contributed to his successes. He has vastly improved the productivity of his team by implementing strategic project management methods and ensuring a work-life balance for his department. He believes mindfulness in the workplace is key to success – he is experienced, flexible, able, energetic, creative, dependable, hardworking and honest.
He has National Diploma in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, first degree in Accounting from University of Ilorin, and three Masters from Bayero University Kano; Masters in Treasury Management, Masters in Islamic Banking and Finance, and Masters in Business and Commercial Law. He also obtained professional qualifications from Chartered Institute of Treasury Management, Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) (IPSAS Diploma), London, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
He has managed Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund: Peace Education and Community Effort for Development (PEACED); Global Fund Round 9 Grant Number-NGA-H-SFHNG: Scaling up Gender Sensitive HIV/AIDS Prevention. Treatment and care and Support Interventions for Adults and Children in Nigeria; “Catalyzing and Expanding Partnership for Scaling Family Life Education, Sexual and Reproductive Health Service Delivery and Livelihood Skills Building for In-School Adolescents in Kano and Jigawa States, In Northern Nigeria” supported by Ford Foundation; and, facility health committees (FHCs) strengthening in Kano supported by DFID-funded project, Partnership for Transforming Health Systems Phase II (PATHS2) etc.
His working experience spans through contract farming, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial development. As a project finance expert, Ibraheem, has a distinguished experience in risk management, with new and emerging business intelligence, portfolio and investment handling, attended many courses, seminars, trainings, workshops and presentations and facilitated many trainings on financial management, social protection, and inclusive education and financial services.
