In the world today, there are more than a hundred different religions; some are claiming to be prophetic, while others were derived from the basis of a human genius. In addition, most of the religions derived their names or title bearing their founders. For example: Zoroastrianism was derived from Zoroaster; Buddhism from Buddha; Christianity from Christ; Confucianism from Confucius; Shintoism from Shinto; Taoism from Tao. As the foregoing bears their founders, some were identified with the places of their origin. This includes Judaism which was derived from Judah, and Hinduism, which was derived from Shindu or Indus. It was only the religion of Islam that does not derived its name or title linking to a human name like Muhammad, Abraham, etc. nor was it identified with the name of a place like Arabia or else.
