لقد التبس مفهوم الجهاد على كثير من الناسِ بمفهوم الإرهابِ، ولهذا يتذمَّر أغلبهم من لفظ الجهادِ، ويعتقدون أن المجاهدين هم إرهابيون. ذلك أنَّ جماعاتٍ من المتطرّفين ظهروا في عصرِنا، وقاموا بأعمالٍ إرهابيةٍ، من القتل والفتك، والسطوِ، والغصبِ والتدمير، واستعمال أشكال من العنف ضد الأبرياءِ باسم الجهادِ. فكانت أعمالُهُمْ ودعاياتُهُمْ مُضَلِّلَةً. فرأيتُ من الواجب أنْ أقومَ بكتابةِ هذه المقالة، فتناولتُ مفهومَ الجهادِ وشرحتُهُ شرحًا يسلِّطُ الضوءَ على هذا المصطح الهامِّ في حدودِ الكتابِ والسنةِ، عسى أن يتنبَّهَ القارِئُ الكريم إلى حقيقةِ الجهادِ، ولا يغترَّ بالمتطرفين المعروفين بالسلفية الجهادية والتكفيريِّين، وأن يحذرَ من الوقوعِ في حبالِ الوهّابِيّين، والرافضةِ والْمُسْلُمَانِيِّينَ الذين تربَّتْ أفراد العصابات الإرهابية في أحضانهم.

Many people have confused the concept of jihad with the concept of terrorism, which is why most of them complain about the word jihad, and believe that the mujahideen are terrorists. This is because groups of extremists have appeared in our time and have carried out terrorist acts, including murder, destruction, robbery, usurpation, destruction, and the use of forms of violence against innocent people in the name of jihad. Their actions and propaganda were misleading. So I considered it necessary to write this article, so I dealt with the concept of jihad and explained it in a way that sheds light on this important term within the limits of the Qur’an and Sunnah, in the hope that the honorable reader will pay attention to the reality of jihad, and not be deceived by the extremists known as Salafist jihadism and Takfiris, and beware of falling into the traps of the Wahhabis. And the Shiites and Muslumanists, in whose bosoms the members of the terrorist gangs were raised.
