This book offers an overview of our project component or levels means PLC, SCADA, and DCS. First, it offers some explanation and basics about PLC and its basic operation, how it operates, scan the input and gives output and how to control these outputs to give desired ones. Then second it offers some explanation and basics about SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) and how it deals with information and data come from PLC and process it and do some supervisory control algorithms and how to monitor the data collected from PLC (or from the plant) in some understanding graphic form which is preferable manner. Finally, we offer DCS which is the second level of supervisory control which is maybe considered as manager control which we make one unit as server and other units as clients.
