Abstract
This research aims to study the social dimensions of Islamic legislation and analyze its impact on family and human relations, as well as financial transactions within Islamic societies. The study sheds light on the role of Islamic legislation in organizing these relationships and achieving justice and balance.
The social dimensions in Islamic legislation emphasize the importance of the family as a fundamental unit in society, focusing on enhancing family relationships and achieving psychological and social balance among its members. The research also emphasizes that Islam is inherently a social religion, encouraging the strengthening of social bonds, cooperation, and harmony among community members, in line with noble Islamic values and principles.
Furthermore, the social dimensions of Islamic legislation highlight the nature of human relations and peaceful coexistence among individuals in Islamic societies. Islamic legislation serves as a comprehensive framework that defines individual rights and responsibilities towards society, regulating their interactions based on principles of justice and equality, regardless of religion or ethnicity ((The Medinan period as a Model)).
Islamic legislation governs financial transactions with rules aimed at achieving justice and equality among individuals, avoiding financial injustice and exploitation. The research encourages the promotion of Islamic economic values rooted in social cooperation and mutual support, while discouraging usury and prohibited practices.
The study concludes that exploring the social dimensions of Islamic legislation demonstrates their alignment with the aspirations of Islamic societies, promoting peaceful coexistence and social stability. It serves as a significant contribution to understanding the role of Islamic legislation in fostering balanced and sustainable human and social relations, while achieving justice and social development within Islamic communities.
