في هذا الكتاب الموجز تحدثنا الدكتورة عائشة عبدالرحمن عن الإنسان، وتأخذنا في رحلة ممتعة على ضفاف شاطئها الفكري الخاص، وفي أغوار النفس الإنسانية. وتحدثنا عن قصة الإنسان منذ المبتدإ وحتى المنتهى، بداية من خلق الله سبحانه وتعالى لآدم عليه السلام وقوله للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم، حيث تحدثنا عن الخلق وعن أمانة الإنسان وحريته التي رزقه الله إياها، وعن حرية العقيدة وحرية العقل والرأي وحرية الإرادة. ثم تنتقل بعد ذلك للحديث عن مصير الإنسان ونهايته.
