يوسف شرقاوي، مؤلّف وناقد فلسطيني سوري، كاتب ومخرج مسرحي، قاص، وروائي. صدر للمؤلف: مسرحيّة: أين الربيع؟. أدب رسائل: دندنة على التامور. رواية قصيرة: الصرخة. وله أعمال قصصية وروائية ومسرحية لم تُنشر بعد.
كتب هذه الكلمات رجلٌ ما حقيقيّ. لم يشهد غير هذه الأمور في حياته الطويلة، والمحكومة بشيءٍ ما خفيّ أيضاً. إنها لغة عقل هذا الإنسان، الذي يجد نفسه مسجوناً، ثمّ يُحكم على نحوٍ غريب. وهي لغة يجب أن تكون مقبولة، استخدمها بجديّة وشعورٍ حقيقيّ، باعتدالٍ وإخلاصٍ لعصره.
محرّر هذه المذكّرات يُؤمن أنها تاريخ من الحقائق، على الرغم من قصرها، ولا يوجد فيها تلك اللغة الخياليّة المُعتادة، ولا حَدَث أو مغامرة، لكنّ العيش في خضمّ ما هو مكتوب هو وحده مُغامرة وصمود وفيه من المُخاطرة ما فيه. إنّ كاتب هذه المُذكّرات، الرجل الحقيقيّ، لا يختلف عن روبنسون كروزو أو حيّ بن يقظان، لكنّه يبقى معزولاً مع الملايين من الناس في سجنٍ كبير، يمكن اعتباره جزيرة نائية عن العالم، ومهما حاول المسجون أن يُؤسّسَ حضارةً جديدةً فيه كما فعل كروزو، يسمع أصواتاً مُرعبة، من ضمنها: صوت السِياط.
إنها في قالبٍ خالصٍ من الحقيقة، كتبها رجلٌ حقيقيّ، ومحرّرها رأى أنها تستحقّ النشر بين العامّة.
