… Although, Muslims all over the world are in the habit of drinking bits of this water especially from pilgrims who take it home when they perform pilgrimage to Makkah, many do not know the qualities, blessing, curative powers and etiquettes associated with the use of this water.
For example, the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “Zamzam water works for the purpose for which it is drunk”. These qualities and purposes for which the water could be drunk and has been drunk with testimonies from across the world are all that Abdul- Quadir Okeneye has provided in this valuable book as a guide for other Muslims who could find themselves in similar challenging situations.
The book, it must be noted, emanates from the Long Essay written by the author as part of the requirements for the award of Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Science which I was privileged to supervise.
The author has provided the scientific and religious (i.e. Islamic) qualities of the Zamzam Water as well as its uses which he is making available to the general public through this book. The author also provided pictures showing the source of the water before and after its modernization for readers to appreciate its natural and blessed source.
I therefore recommend the book to all Muslims who want one problem or the other of their lives solved or desire one thing or the other.
