اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِىْۤ اَنْزَلَ عَلٰى عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهٗ عِوَجًا, وَاَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَّاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِه وَاَصْحَابِه وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمًا كَثِيْرًا, اَمَّا بَعْدُ.
“Praise be to God who sent down the Scripture to His servant and made no crookedness in it, and I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner or partner He bore witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and his companions, and grant them abundant peace, but now”.
Magic (Gadhamrap) has always been the focus of human attention on the map of the subcontinent. That is why most of the outsiders considered India as a magical city in ancient institutions. The art of Bengal till now has occupied its unique place in the whole world. However, the practice of this magic was initially limited only to non-Muslim sections of the society. But today, if we look at the present condition and situation of the common Muslims of the subcontinent, it will be evident like daylight that the epidemic of magic has spread at a very fast pace in the Muslim society of the continent in the last few decades.
Constantly new incidents of some Muslim families are seen and heard. It is a very alarming fact that mutual kinship, devotion, benevolence, love, kindness, forgiveness, tolerance, trust and sincerity are today transformed into hatred, malice, arrogance, enmity, vindictiveness, ill-will, mistrust, skepticism, skepticism and distance. Someone is trying to destroy someone's business or arrest someone by using magic. Someone is eager to create hatred between father and son. Some are troubled by the thought of creating discord and separation between husband and wife. Some are inciting communal strife. Some have been enemies of mental peace and balance; Wants to see him mentally anxious and depressed. The envious finds his own solace in the physical harm of others.
In order to perform these misdeeds, the devil-like schemer is not at all reluctant to take refuge in his services; Whether he is Muslim by name or non-Muslim by name.
AUTHOR Good business going on perishes, rich fields wither, prosperous people become destitute, healthy people become sickly and withered, families rich in the love of husband and wife become separated from each other and hate each other, laughter. -Having seen happy and good-natured people become extremely ill-tempered, grumpy and depressed rather than

depressed all the time. He has also seen a happy family like heaven become a model of hell, loved ones and family members become enemies of each other, completely normal and elegant people are beaten unconscious, clothes are torn, hair is torn, head is hit against the wall, making various unnecessary noises, from the house. Abnormal behavior such as running away.
In recent times, a class of civilized and advanced claimants have been content to reject magic simply by saying, 'These are only fanciful and conjectural anecdotes. And they also say, where has the time progressed today; There is no scientific evidence for this, nor has it been possible to present any acceptable argument for it to date. So, there is no need to listen to such baseless and foolish words.
But those intelligent people who have a watchful eye on the history of the development and progress of science, they know very well that the fact that something is not proved or paid attention to in the eyes of science is not a proof of its non-existence. Maybe, what is an inexplicable mystery till today will have an intelligible solution tomorrow.
Many people say that life has become so dynamic and fast-paced in today's mechanized age that no one has spare time to attach so much importance to such unnecessary talk and nonsense or resort to sorcerers and soothsayers to waste their precious time and money only for enmity. Will spend money.
Others say, why is magic and some of its forms such as Nazarbandi, veliki baji, fortune-telling, fortune-telling etc. found only in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal etc.? Why and how are western countries safe from these epidemics? Are these not the reasons for their improvement and distance from such meditations? But the fact is, the Western (especially European) countries have been deeply immersed in this epidemic since ancient times. For the same reason various types of magic such as White-Magic, Black-Magic, Soothsaying witcraft, sorcery and Occultism etc. are very popular with them. In the modern world, even in this advanced age, there is no escape from this unknown danger. A detailed analysis of this is coming up under the heading 'Historical Position of Magic', Insha'Allah.
Looseness and extravagance are not peculiar to this class; Rather, we observe that a large section of our society believes in magic and its effects, even in the presence of Jinn and Satan, and is immersed in various types of evils, superstitions and evil practices. It will be discussed in the future, inshallah.

In view of these special conditions of the sub-continent for an age, I strongly felt the need to present a separate book on magic and its various nefarious activities before the public. Besides being concise, the book will cover all the necessary aspects of the subject. So that the responsibility of guiding the common devout Muslims can be properly carried out. The wise and wise are well aware that this title is considered to be a very delicate and rocky ground for sowing the seeds of knowledge.
Books and booklets on magic in Arabic and Urdu are available in the market
There is hardly any discussion of magic. Instead of describing the various opinions, fatwas, ijtehadi, researches and even his masnun treatment methods of earlier and later ulama, most of the books are a collection of baseless stories and anecdotal anecdotes of deity. Or various unsourced concoctions, prayers or self-selected Quranic verses, designs and methods of treatment of amulets and personal or famous Burganan have given more importance to the tested practice of religion. In some books cognitive and investigative methods are missing. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Raji'un.
In order to fulfill this demand of the time, 'Jadu ki haqeeqat aur shaitano ki duniya, unke khatarat ehtiati tadabir aur ilaj [Kitab o Sunnat ki roshni me]' is in the service of Sudhi Pathak Mahal. It is basically an Urdu version of the author's Arabic Kitab (اَلسِّحْرُ حُكْمُهٗ وَخَطَرُهٗ وَالْوَقَايَةُ مِنْهُ (فِىْ ضُوْءِ الْكِتَابِ وَالسُّنَّةِ) 1419 AH) Al Muassatul Ammatu Litahliatil Miyahil Maliha's branch institute Lajnatul Anshutatil Amma' was presented in the annual grand ilmi competition there It was announced as the first award winner in 1419 Hijri by Dr. Fahad Ibn Abdur Rahman.
After that, the request to print this book started coming from some officials of the mentioned organization. Even at one stage, with the cooperation and efforts of Abdullah Bin Muhammad Azlan Bhai, the respected director of 'Markazul Ibhasi Wat Tatweer', the book was published in public in 1920 AH. May Allah reward him well.
The popularity and acceptability of this book can be best understood by the following facts - The book is widely distributed in almost all of Arabia, especially in the countries of the United Arab Emirates. Its first edition sold out in less than four months. It has been enriched with the sayings and opinions of some famous and reliable Islamic scholars of Saudi Arabia. Among them, the Secretary General of An Nadwatul Almiya Lish Shababil Islami (Riyadh), a member of the Shura in the Saudi Majlis. Abudi, Chief Executive of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Shaykh Abdullah Bin Hussain Rashed Jariq, Umm al Qura University (Makkah) ) former professor Dr. The names of Abdullah Abbas Nadvi and others are specially mentioned.
In addition, among those who expressed their opinion and prayed for the author, the famous hadith scholar Allama Nasiruddin Albani, the author's murshid, tutor and father Muhammad Amin Ashari Rahmani Mubarakpuri, member of Idaratul Buhuhu Ilmiyyah Wal Ifta (Riyadh) Shaykh Saleh Ibn Abdur Rahman. Atram, Vice-Chancellor of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (Riyadh), Dr. Muhammad Ibn Sa'd Salem, Vice-Chancellor of Madina Islamic University, Madina. Muhammad Ibn Khalifa Tamimi, Member of the Board of Education of Sharia University of Islamic University Shaykh Abdullah Ibn Ibrahim Jahem, Professor of Islamic University. Asem Ibn Abdullah Karayuti, Engineer Ahmed Ibn Muhammad Mudaihim, Governor of Technology and Project Department of Al Muassasatul Ammatu Litahliatil Miah, Abdul Ghaffar Hasan Rahmani, former professor of Islamic University, Shaikh Ibrahim Sultan, Patron of Jaliat Dawat Center etc. are specially mentioned.
After the book was published, distributed and well received in Arabic, there were repeated requests from different quarters that the author should prepare Urdu and English versions of Batman's book. Sheikh Yahya, a Supreme Court judge in the ancient Saudi city of Dammam, even offered to print two editions at his own personal expense. But due to other scholarly and pastoral engagements, I did not have the opportunity to undertake the monumental task of preparing the immediate edition. However, finally the translation work of the book was completed by the infinite mercy of Allah Ta'ala. فَالْحَمْدُ للهِ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ..
Some subjects were not able to be inserted due to the constraints imposed by the editors and maintaining the prescribed page limits against the original Arabic book. But it is felt absolutely necessary and beneficial to add those discussions/analyses which are tailored to the particular situation/topics of the subcontinent. (Especially analyzing the various states of Jinn and Satan, their harmful aspects and precautionary measures). Hence they have been incorporated in this Urdu translation at appropriate places. As a result, the size of the Urdu version has increased almost five times compared to the original Arabic book. At the same time, the title of the Urdu version has also been changed. Therefore, it would not be wrong to call it an independent work rather than an original Arabic book.
The contents of Bakhshman Granth are divided into five chapters in total: The first chapter deals with the nature of magic, laws and its harmful aspects. In the second chapter there is a

discussion about the introduction of the various conditions, harmful aspects of Jinn and Satan. The third chapter contains a description of the believer's tools and precautions against the jinn and Satan. The fourth chapter deals with jinn charms and getting rid of magic, other precautionary measures and solutions and the fifth chapter deals with the precautions against magic etc. practiced in the subcontinent and some illegal treatments.
At the time of compilation of the book every effort has been made to keep the supporting traditions free from corruption and falsification. Particular attention has been paid to the purity of all hadiths narrated in this

such tradition occurs anywhere, its weakness is briefly pointed out. Moreover, the detailed analysis of that weakness in the footnotes also gives a full and clear idea of its status and position among the Ulama. So that readers can be properly informed about this.
It would be extremely ungrateful not to thank Shaykh Ansar Jobair Muhammad Sahib. He not only translated the Arabic book 'As Sihr'; Rather, he also helped to compose. Even Adyopant spent his precious time reading manuscripts. Also grateful to my spouse Salma Parveen (Binte Alhaj Mirza Bashir Beg); who saved time from her household chores and assisted the author by checking the layout, sources and evidence of the Arabic book against the Urdu translation. Similarly, my respected Sheikh Mokhtar Ahmad Madani also deserves gratitude. He painstakingly went through the entire manuscript towards the end of the book and offered endless useful suggestions. May Allah reward them all.
Finally, it is a humble request to all readers, rather a request, that the rituals and legitimate methods presented in the book of Bakhsman for protection and treatment from magic, should never be taken as a profession. At the same time the protection and precautionary measures which have been declared void and illegal and superstitions shall be avoided at all costs. It should in no way be documented or empirically or experimentally acted upon.
I conclude my request by praying that Allah Ta'ala will give the book wide acceptance among the Urdu speakers of the Arab world. Guidance and direction to the right path for ordinary Muslims, as well as a means of complete protection and safety from the evils of magic and sorcerers, and spells for authors, publishers and all associates on the path to the Hereafter. Allahumma Amen!
